Yerevan-Masis-Ararat 50.5 km 10 GBps bandwidth fiber optic line was put into operation.

The first section, laid as result of cooperation between the South Caucasus Railways and GNC-Alfа, covers the towns of Masis, Ararat, Artashat and Vedi. The project envisages optic line construction in the direction of Charentsavan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Etchmiadzin and Armavir.
